January 2: The children returned from the Winter break to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with their classmates. The students visited a nursing home in Northbrook to spread good cheer and then returned to school for a pizza party and a puppet show.

In our morning assemblies we've been focusing on memorizing dua's for daily living. The children have beeen acting out scenarios and reciting the appropriate dua. Also, the children are learning about and giving speeches on several famous proverbs as part of our character education program.
