April 26: Pansie planting for Earth Day. The students were exposed to the idea that everyday is Earth Day. By planting pansies all around the school grounds, the children learned that this is also an Islamic concept.

April 12: The 2002 Averroes Academy Science Fair was held today. The students created exhibits and were judged on creativity, presentation, and the use of the scientific method. Here are some of pictures from the event.
