Throughout the month, the Parent Teacher Council has been selling beautiful 2003 calendars. These calendars have been customized for the Chicago area with information on masjids and dawah organizations. Also, the Islamic months and holidays are included along with inspirational world photos and Qur’anic quotations. Calendars are still available, so please contact the school.

Poetry on Parade: Poetry on Parade is a special program that will, inshallah, help our children develop an awareness and appreciation for Muslim and American poets. Over a two week period in December, staff and students shared, read, and wrote poetry in our classes. Poetry on Parade wrapped up with our Poet’s Circle, a celebration of poetry with treats and even a raffle!
